Investment Platform Cent Neo
ROLE
Lead Designer
YEAR
2024
The Investment Module in Cent Neo is designed to manage various investment options, such as Mutual Funds and Fixed Deposits (FDs). It provides a detailed portfolio view along with comprehensive reporting features for efficient investment management.

As a UX Designer, my responsibility is to understand user needs and business goals to create efficient and effective workflows.
From understanding business requirements to designing final product.

Started with understanding client
requirements & drafting a PRD for the
project
It is an investment platform offered by the Central Bank to its customers, aimed at simplifying the investment process. Designing the product required a deep understanding of the client’s vision, ideas, and underlying objectives.
After a long conversation with the Managers & Product Leader about the
product, audience, goals & preferences, I drafted a PRD to ensure seamless
collaboration.
This approach helped me design the product smoothly and collaboratively
with fewer iterations.
Phase 1
Client Requirements & PRD

Interacted with real users to
understand the target audience
To craft a user-centric solution, it was necessary to understand users. To
achieve this, we conducted user interviews & desk research to understand
users in a better way.
The platform’s design should cater user needs and expectations while ensuring simplicity, transparency, and accessibility.
After some thought & consideration, we concluded on these 2 potential user
personas from Retail Investors:
Young Professionals
Tech-Savvy Investors
Phase 2
Target Audience
I use the Central Bank of India Design System for digital products to ensure a consistent and seamless user experience across the product.
While designing new components, I adhered to the established guidelines and spacing system outlined in the design system. This approach ensures consistency in visual hierarchy, alignment, and proportions across the interface.
Phase 3
Design System

Presenting final designs:
From onboarding to placing orders, the journey offers a seamless and intuitive investment experience.
The real challenge was to create a responsive design that works seamlessly across web, desktop, and mobile applications, maintaining consistent components while ensuring the flow and features remained intact.

Phase 5
Testing
Conducting Initial Prototype Testing to Refine the Design
The real challenge was to create a responsive design that works seamlessly across web, desktop, and mobile applications, maintaining consistent components while ensuring the flow and features remained intact.
Through interactive sessions, I observed user interactions, gathered direct feedback, and identified pain points such as unclear transaction details and insufficient visual indicators.
Insights from these sessions were systematically analyzed and used to refine the design, enhancing clarity, usability, and overall user experience.
The app is currently in development and is set to be launched soon by the Central Bank of India.
That's all for Cent Neo - thanks for your time!
